Council of Arab Health Ministers convenes 62nd Ordinary Session

​The Health and Humanitarian Aid Department—Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Health Ministers—convened the 62nd Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers on 19 May at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. The session, chaired by the Republic of Iraq, was attended by all Arab member states with the exception of Djibouti and the Comoros.

​The 23rd Meeting of the Arab Group for Monitoring International Environmental Agreements on Biodiversity and Combating Desertification concluded its proceedings, which were held from 18 to 22 May at the headquarters of the League of Arab States. The meeting brought together representatives from Arab countries' ministries responsible for biodiversity and desertification, alongside delegates from Arab, regional, and international organisations.

​The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Department of Health and Humanitarian Aid – Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Health Ministers) convened the preparatory meeting of the Executive Office in advance of the 62nd ordinary session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, on 18 May 2025, at the headquarters of the League's Mission in Geneva. The meeting was chaired by the Arab Republic of Egypt and included participation from the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Palestine, and the State of Qatar.
